TAKE-5 consortium proposal been awarded by EU.   PDF  Print  E-mail
The level of Green Public Procurement is being measured in all 25 member states across Europe.
The TAKE-5 consortium, formed to measure Green Public Procurement (GPP) in all 25 countries of the EU, has published the first part of the research on the EU website for public consultation. Procurement officers of public authorities are invited to fill out a questionnaire, to indicate what their organisation practices in the field of environmental criteria in purchasing. The questionnaire is available in several languages, and will be available until the end of September 2005. After that, the data will be analysed and a report will be prepared.
Take-5 consists of five organisations across Europe, Virage Environment & Management (Netherlands), Centre for Environmental Studies (Hungary), Macroscopio (Italy), GlobaltoLocal (United Kingdom) and SYKE (Finland). These organisations have combined forces and will carry out the project in the coming months.
These pages give information on issues around this project, like news, links, etc.

The report of the study is available (in English) on the website of the European Commission (see: Final report under 'Presentation of the intermediary report of a study on the state of play on Green public procurement in the EU, UK presidency event, London, 27 and 28 October 2005').
